About the Role

As Team Leader-Emerging Verticals - Wellness Brand Ambassador for Jaquar, you will embody the essence of the brand across the state. Your primary responsibility will be to cultivate and expand the markets for all emerging verticals by implementing strategic & educational initiatives, raising awareness and converting opportunities into sales. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in team development, providing guidance and support to ensure 100 % productivity. The role is to drive the overall revenue responsibility for the emerging verticals. You will lead a team of experienced sales professionals to bring desired results in respective market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Brand Representation
    • Represent and promote the complete range of Wellness products to builders, dealers, architects, and interior designers, strengthening market presence within the assigned territory.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key influencers — architects, builders, and dealers — through regular interactions, project reviews, and solution-based discussions.
    • Partner with cross-divisional teams (OC/JW/Atelier/GIS/Hospitality) to identify and drive opportunities for cross-selling and concept integration of Wellness zones.
  • Sales Leadership
    • Drive business growth by identifying and targeting high-potential builders and architects engaged in premium or wellness-focused projects.
    • Create and deliver tailored presentations that highlight the Wellness product range and demonstrate ROI through cost savings, efficiency, and enhanced customer experience.
    • Collaborate with dealers to ensure impactful product displays in line with the Correct Display Matrix (Wellness concept or zone).
    • Promote new products proactively at dealer counters and project sites to generate interest and build a qualified prospect pipeline.
  • Team Management
    • Lead, guide, and motivate the sales generation specialist team to achieve sales targets and convert leads into revenue.
    • Provide direction and on-ground support to ensure effective customer engagement, timely follow-ups, and strong conversion ratios.
    • Review performance regularly and align team efforts with strategic business goals.
  • Educational Initiatives
    • Facilitate product knowledge sessions and on-the-job learning for dealer sales teams to enhance technical understanding and confidence in promoting Wellness solutions.
    • Share competitive insights, best practices, and success stories to strengthen selling capabilities and team motivation.
  • Product Awareness & Market Development
    • Strengthen product visibility through effective showroom displays and conceptual storytelling around Wellness zones.
    • Engage continuously with market stakeholders to position Wellness as a lifestyle-driven concept, not just a product category.
    • Identify market trends and customer preferences to support new product introductions and innovation roadmaps.
  • Data & Optimization
    • Maintain accurate data and updates in relevant systems to support business reviews and forecasting.
    • Track competitor activities and market movements, sharing insights for benchmarking and continuous improvement.

  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) and software tools
  • Leadership Skills with solution providing attitude
  • Attitude to follow win-win approach leading to building long term relationship with strong influencing skills
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
  • Concept selling and need creation skills
     
Competencies
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: Graduation/ Post graduation degree preferred.
  • Experience: Proven track record of more than 12-18 years, holding leadership role, preferably in the building material, furniture or related industry for 3-5 years.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with pleasing personality, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
    • Ability to work with team and to carry out assignments to completion within the expected timeline
