Overview:

This role will be responsible for leading the mechanical design team and ensuring the successful execution of projects related to automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design and a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the mechanical design team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions for automation projects.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify new technologies and trends in mechanical design and incorporate them into project designs.
• Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
• Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all project designs.
• Mentor and train team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the automation industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  : B.E./B.Tech in EEE, EIE, ECE, Mechatronics, or related fields.

  : MCA, M.Sc./M.Tech in relevant domains, or equivalent academic backgrounds with strong hands-on exposure.

  : Exceptional candidates with proven skills (e.g., open-source contributions, relevant certifications) may be considered, even if from a non-traditional educational path.

  : 3–4 years in software development, testing, and deployment.

• Technical Exposure

  : Proficiency in VB.Net, C#, Java, Python, Node.js, or similar languages, with a strong foundation in database systems (MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL).

• Automation Domain

  : Experience in PC-based automation, industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT, Profinet), and hardware integration (NI/Advantech/Adlink DAQ cards). Familiarity with LabVIEW is a plus.

• Additional Considerations

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude.
• Familiarity with version control (Git, SVN) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) is advantageous.
