Role Summary:
We are looking for a highly capable Computer Vision Software Engineer with 4–7 years of experience in developing robust vision algorithms using OpenCV, Python, and custom mathematical logic. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical thinking, object-oriented design principles, and a solid understanding of Cartesian coordinate systems. Robotics experience is a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop software solutions for computer vision systems using OpenCV and custom image processing algorithms.
Build, optimize, and maintain deep learning models using TensorFlow/Keras for classification, detection, and segmentation. Very good at CNN. Knowing RNN is an added advantage.
Implement mathematical models and custom algorithms to solve vision challenges like part localization, orientation, and defect detection.
Apply strong logical reasoning to break down complex problems into efficient and scalable solutions.
Collaborate closely with robotics, automation, and software teams to deploy vision algorithms in real-time systems.
Contribute to software architecture and development with a focus on clean, modular, and reusable code.
Work with Cartesian coordinate systems and apply kinematics understanding for vision-to-robot interaction.
Work Experience
Required Skills & Qualifications:
8–15 years of hands-on experience in computer vision software development.
Strong expertise in OpenCV and writing custom image processing algorithms.
Solid understanding of mathematics (linear algebra, geometry, probability) relevant to vision and AI.
Excellent logical thinking and problem-solving ability.
Proficiency in Python programming with good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs).
Experience with TensorFlow/Keras and AI workflows (data prep, training, validation, deployment).
Good grasp of Cartesian coordinate systems, with kinematics knowledge (forward/inverse) preferred.
Experience in robotics or working alongside robotic platforms is an added advantage.
Desirable (Nice to Have):
Knowledge of vision system integration in robotics applications (e.g., pick & place, inspection).
Exposure to industrial automation, manufacturing, or automotive environments.
Experience with source control (Git), deployment tools, and agile workflows.
