The Team:

The German business tax team in USI is engaged in preparation and reviews of various type of corporate entities in Germany which includes tax reporting, tax returns, DWT returns, law firm tax return submissions etc. We are a team with professionals of varying experience and skills in tax technical, the team is involved in training, onboarding, work allocations, process improvement/documentation etc.

The Role:

Oversee delivery of indirect tax technology projects, from diagnostics and design to implementation.

Responsibilities include: -

Guided assistance to Deloitte Member Firms to support

• Lead project teams in deploying tax engines and ERP tax modules.
• Manage Client requirements, configurations and troubleshooting.
• Drive project plans, milestones, and quality assurance.

Qualifications Required:

• Full time master’s degree in finance or bachelor’s degree in IT from reputed university
• 7+ years’ experience in indirect tax technology (preferably with SAP/Oracle).
• Strong project management and client engagement skills.
• In-depth knowledge of indirect tax law, German VAT, and digital tax compliance landscape.
• Hands-on experience with major ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and indirect tax determination engines (Vertex, Thomson Reuters, Sovos, etc.).
• German and English fluency strongly preferred.

Work Location: Hyderabad || Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM IST.
