About the opportunity

As our founding Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll operate as a talent scout with the unique opportunity to build a TA practice from the ground up. 


You'll be the company's eyes and ears in the talent marketplace, identifying exceptional candidates others miss. This role offers unlimited growth potential both monetarily and intellectually, where you'll own business outcomes with performance directly linked to your success.


Core Responsibilities

  • Scout for exceptional talent by looking beyond standard credentials and typical talent pools
  • Develop creative sourcing strategies to uncover candidates with both technical aptitude and business acumen
  • Build and maintain relationships with passive candidates who might be perfect for future roles
  • Conduct initial screening to assess both skills and cultural alignment
  • Interact with clients to understand their unique talent needs and company dynamics
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle from sourcing to offer acceptance
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities by spotting talent trends
  • Create and optimize talent pipelines for various technical and functional roles


Must-Have Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition or related fields
  • Tech-savvy with ability to understand technical and functional job requirements
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate candidate strengths to clients
  • Strong negotiation abilities to close candidates in competitive markets
  • Outcome-oriented with a hands-on approach: ability to understand the big picture, break it into tasks, and tackle them head-on
  • Ability to thrive in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment


Good-to-Have Qualifications

  • Background in Psychology or HR
  • Experience with modern AI workflows for talent sourcing and assessment
  • Strong network in tech or specialized industry sectors
  • Ability to think and act "glocally" (globally + locally)
  • Experience working with technical talent
  • Prior experience in a startup environment or fast-growth company


Work Environment

  • Hybrid setup with 3-4 days in our Gurgaon office
  • Fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture
  • Direct reporting to the founder
