Manager Talent Acquisition & Training & Development

Location

Rajkot, Gujarat
(Candidate must be willing to relocate to Rajkot)

Experience

Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Talent Acquisition
(Preferably from Manufacturing / Engineering / Industrial organizations)

Job Purpose

The Manager Talent Acquisition & Training will be responsible for end-to-end recruitment, including leadership, CXO, and white-collar hiring, while also planning and executing training & development initiatives to build organizational capability. The role requires strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for white-collar, leadership, and CXO positions across functions.
  • Partner with business heads and leadership team to understand manpower planning and critical talent needs.
  • Design and execute talent acquisition strategies aligned with business growth plans.
  • Handle CXO and senior leadership hiring, including search, evaluation, negotiations, and onboarding support.
  • Build and manage a strong talent pipeline through networking, referrals, vendors, and market mapping.
  • Manage relationships with consultants, headhunters, and recruitment agencies.
  • Ensure timely closure of positions with quality talent and optimal cost.
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics (TAT, cost per hire, source effectiveness).
  • Prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports to Management.

Training & Development (Secondary Responsibility)

  • Identify training needs through performance data, skill gap analysis, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Plan and coordinate technical, behavioral, leadership, and functional training programs.
  • Work with internal trainers and external training partners.
  • Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Measure training effectiveness and prepare training impact reports.
  • Support organizational initiatives related to capability building and employee development.

Stakeholder & Process Management

  • Act as a strategic HR partner for business leaders.
  • Ensure recruitment and training processes are aligned with company policies and compliance standards.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to attract high-quality talent.
  • Continuously improve recruitment and development practices through best-in-class HR processes.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in Talent Acquisition & Leadership Hiring
  • Proven experience in CXO / Senior Management recruitment
  • Exposure to Manufacturing / Engineering / Industrial environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing abilities
  • Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability
  • Good understanding of training & development frameworks
  • Data-driven approach and proficiency in recruitment analytics

Educational Qualification

  • MBA / PGDM in HR / Personnel Management
  • Engineering background preferred but not mandatory
