Tableau Developer with WebFOCUS expertise

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations

  using Tableau and WebFOCUS.
• Collaborate with business users to

  gather requirements

  and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Perform

  data modeling, ETL analysis, and SQL-based data transformations

  to support reporting needs.
• Optimize queries, reports, and dashboards for performance and usability.
• Integrate Tableau with various data sources (databases, flat files, APIs, etc.) and manage data connections.
• Develop and maintain

  WebFOCUS-based reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions

  .
• Conduct

  data validation and quality checks

  to ensure accuracy and consistency of reporting.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives with data-driven insights.
• Provide

  end-user training and documentation

  for BI tools and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve BI-related issues in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience

  in BI/Analytics development with a strong focus on

  Tableau

  .

• Hands-on experience with WebFOCUS

  reporting and dashboard development (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of

  SQL

  (PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).
• Experience in

  data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes

  .
• Expertise in

  data visualization best practices

  to deliver intuitive and impactful dashboards.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS Redshift, Snowflake, GCP BigQuery, or Azure SQL).
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
