Job Description

Responsibility of/Expectations from the Role:

Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboard and workbooks
Responsible for meeting Service Level Agreements & cadences established with the client.
Understand and propose improvements to underlying data models
Collaborate on technical solutions with strategy and planning team, business partners and business analysts
Clearly communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical teams
Develop a set of Tableau development best practices and share across user groups
Stay ahead of new Tableau capabilities and deliver internal Tableau training as needed to team
Develop rapid prototypes of dashboards

Candidate Must Have:

Extensive experience in designing and developing dashboards in Tableau
Understand business needs and translate them into reporting solution
Solid experience in SQL(Oracle)
Data modeling/merging using Tableau custom SQL
Create parameters, calculated fields, LODs and filters
Effectively use data blending, filters, actions, sets & hierarchies in tableau
Publish dashboards to Tableau server
Configuring scheduling, refresh, and row level security of dashboards
Monitor and update Tableau dashboards
Troubleshoot data issues in reports
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Good to have:

Tableau Certification
Work with SQL/ Unix shell/ data sources to prepare and transform underlying data as needed.
Experience in Trifecta/Alteryx
A solid understanding of good software development process and experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies
Provide management with timely weekly and monthly project status updates.
