Philips CT/AMI is located in Cleveland, Haifa, Suzhou, Shenyang, Bangalore and Pune with clear ownership and responsibilities for Pune site. CT/AMI India Product Engineering group is responsible for CT/AMI products life cycle management.
Job Responsibilities
- Carrying out all System Engineering activities of assigned product(s)/product line(s) as per the global system engineering process.
- Detects common architectural and functional components in order to enable reuse and maintainability.
- Implementing the constraints that originate from legacy.
- Discussing & deploying and attunes solutions with the project stakeholders
- Determining and managing the external and internal interfaces framework in cooperation with all interface stakeholders.
- Monitoring and managing that the design is understood and used / implemented correctly by the project team.
- Leading technically with respect to requirements, design, realization and verification for the subsystem.
- Advising on realization, planning and budgets.
- Obtain and maintains internal and external network for knowledge build-up of self and team.
- System / subsystem design/architecture and/or design changes.
- Reliability and Serviceability of the system / subsystem / component
- Impact assessment, complaint Investigations and resolution
- Performing safety analysis according to applicable medical device standards
- Complying to all applicable medical standards / regulations such as CE and FDA.
- Contributing to Technology Roadmaps
- Improving customer satisfaction through providing excellent solutions to existing customers.
Preferred Skills
- Master/bachelor's in engineering
- 5 + years of experience in designing & developing medical devices / products.
- Solid experience in design / development of complex technological products / systems / subsystems in area of Electrical or Mechanical or Electronics (Unix) and Embedded Software.
- Experience is CT / Nuclear Medicine product development is preferred
- Knowledge of IEC standards, risk management, verification and validation of medical devices
- Knowhow of design control processes for medical device design.
- Fast learner and interest to learn new technologies/business/systems.
- System thinking mindset and domain expertise in the related area.
- Excellent communication skills

- Mindset to simplify and reach to solutions with speed.
How We Work Together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.Indicate if this role is an office/field/onsite role.
