Role & responsibilities Collaborate with the other AI & Robotics colleagues to understand project requirements and objectives. Design, implement and optimize algorithms for robotics applications, including perception, motion planning, path planning and control algorithms Develop software for embedded systems, including programming for EDGE compute hardware or robotic platforms. Collaborate with other robotics engineers to integrate software with robotic hardware components. Build & deploy autonomous software systems that enable robots to operate effectively in dynamic environments. Develop AI solutions tailored to specific industry needs, such as Manufacturing, Security & Surveillance and Quality Analysis Conduct testing, debugging and performance optimization to ensure reliability and efficiency of AI & Robotics software solutions on specified EDGE hardware. Stay updated with latest advancements in AI, Robotics and related field and incorporate new technologies and methodologies into our software development process. Proficiency in programming languages such C/C++, Python, and/or C#, with experience in embedded python programming Familiarity with ROS (Robotic Operating System) and other robotics frameworks and middleware is highly desirable Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Tensorflow, PyTorch, or OpenCV for developing AI solutions Solid understanding of software engineering principles, software architecture and design patterns Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
