As an Industrial Security Guard, your role involves maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and property within an industrial facility. You will be responsible for monitoring security systems, patrolling premises, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to ensure safety and compliance with company policies and legal regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Regularly patrol the premises to ensure the safety of employees, visitors, and equipment. - Monitor and report on potential security breaches or hazards. - Screen and verify employee and visitor identification at access points. - Operate and monitor surveillance systems (CCTV) for unusual activities. - Respond quickly and appropriately to security incidents, alarms, or disturbances. - Maintain logs of daily activities, including inspections, incidents, and irregularities. - Provide a professional, approachable presence to staff, visitors, and contractors. - Work in collaboration with other security staff, facility managers, and law enforcement when required. **Qualifications Required:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Previous experience in industrial security, law enforcement, or military is preferred. - Basic knowledge of security systems, surveillance equipment, and access control technology. - Ability to write clear and concise reports. - Strong observational skills and attention to detail. - Good physical condition and ability to stand or walk for extended periods. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful situations. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
