Key Responsibilities: Patrol Premises: Walk or drive around the property to ensure safety, detect hazards, and monitor suspicious activity. Monitor Surveillance Systems: Watch security cameras to detect and respond to unusual or suspicious behavior. Access Control: Monitor and control entrances and exits, verifying the identity of individuals entering the premises. Incident Response: Respond quickly and effectively to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances (fire, medical, or security-related). Report Writing: Document incidents, accidents, and any security-related events in clear, accurate reports. Enforce Rules and Policies: Ensure that all visitors, employees, or contractors follow security protocols and building regulations. Customer Service: Greet visitors, provide directions, and assist with general inquiries while maintaining security. Monitor Traffic Flow: Ensure smooth traffic operations in parking areas and during events or busy times. Emergency Preparedness: Be trained to handle emergency situations like evacuations, first aid, or fire drills. Skills and Qualifications: Physical Stamina: Ability to stand or walk for long periods and perform routine patrols. Strong Observation Skills: Ability to notice details and remain alert to unusual activities. Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to report incidents and interact with others. Problem Solving: Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions. Basic First Aid/CPR: Often required for emergencies.
