Support - RM - Electrical Maintenance - SteelThe Assistant Manager in Electrical Maintenance for the Steel industry is a pivotal role responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of electrical systems within the plant. This position requires a deep understanding of engineering standards and procedures, as well as the ability to plan and manage plant operations effectively. The role involves planning and executing preventive and breakdown maintenance, troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring equipment reliability, supporting production continuity, and maintaining safety compliance. The position requires strong coordination with mechanical, production, and instrumentation teams to minimize downtime and improve overall plant performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in plant management and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity and performance of the plant's electrical systems.

Principal Accountabilities

Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of electrical systemsbr Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to plan and execute maintenance activities minimizing production downtimebr Supervise and execute electrical maintenance activities in the TMT rolling mill including upkeep of drives motors PCCMCC panels automation systems sensors and electrical safety systemsbr Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulationsbr Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly to support continuous production operationsbr Manage energy consumption and implement energysaving initiatives to optimize plant performance
