Supply Chain Manager

You are seeking a Procurement Manager position at Marut Drones, where you will be responsible for overseeing the sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management of raw materials, components, and equipment required for drone production. Your role will involve developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with production and business goals, maintaining quality standards, and optimizing supply chain efficiency. You will play a crucial role in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely availability of critical materials. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production and business goals. - Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers for raw materials, electronics, mechanical parts, and packaging materials. - Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high-quality standards. - Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers. - Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to secure the best deals. - Regularly evaluate vendor performance, quality compliance, and service levels. - Raise, track, and manage purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely procurement. - Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all purchases. - Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock levels to prevent shortages. - Work closely with production and warehouse teams to align procurement with manufacturing schedules. - Implement Just-in-Time (JIT) purchasing to optimize inventory costs. - Analyze cost structures and procurement expenses to optimize spending. - Identify cost-saving opportunities through supplier negotiations and process improvements. - Maintain procurement budgets and track expenditures. - Ensure all procured materials meet quality, regulatory, and industry standards. - Collaborate with quality control teams to inspect and approve incoming materials. - Stay updated with import/export regulations, taxes, and compliance policies. - Develop and maintain procurement reports, purchase logs, and supplier databases. - Analyze market trends, material price fluctuations, and supply chain risks. - Implement ERP-based procurement systems for better efficiency. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. - MBA or PG Diploma in Procurement, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management is preferred. - 8-12 years of experience in procurement, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial role. - Experience in aerospace, drone manufacturing, electronics, or automotive procurement is preferred.,
