Job Description

As a Supply Chain Manager at Charbhai Bidi Works, you will be responsible for optimizing the supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products/services. Your role will involve strategic planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, supplier relationship management, cost management, risk management, performance metrics establishment, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with regulations and standards. Key Responsibilities: - **Strategic Planning:** Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives for operational excellence. - **Procurement:** Manage vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management to ensure availability of high-quality materials/components at competitive prices. - **Inventory Management:** Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs and excess stock. - **Logistics:** Oversee transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment for on-time delivery to customers. - **Supplier Relationship Management:** Build strong relationships with suppliers for reliability, quality, and continuous improvement. - **Cost Management:** Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement initiatives without compromising quality or service levels. - **Risk Management:** Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for minimal disruptions. - **Performance Metrics:** Establish KPIs for measuring supply chain performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives. - **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Collaborate with other departments to align supply chain activities with business goals. - **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices related to supply chain management. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field; advanced degree or certifications are a plus. - 5+ years of proven experience in supply chain management roles, preferably in the relevant industry/sector. - Strong analytical skills for data-driven insights and decision-making optimization. - Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills with a track record of achieving cost savings. - Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, inventory management software). - Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to lead teams and foster collaboration. - Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.,
