Role Overview

SME in Core Electrical Engineering

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the

  technical authority and consulting lead

  for DC-DC converters, power electronics, and voltage regulation systems.
• Identify and develop

  new consulting service offerings and verticals

  based on DC-DC, power electronics, and PCB design expertise.
• Lead

  client-facing technical engagements

  , including design review, solution recommendations, and prototyping support.
• Mentor and guide internal and client engineering teams on

  PCB design, E-CAD tools (Altium Designer, Cadence, or similar), and system-level optimization

  .
• Collaborate with consulting teams to

  deliver high-value solutions

  for clients in EV, industrial electronics, or advanced manufacturing sectors.
• Evaluate and recommend

  new components, tools, and design methodologies

  to expand the firm’s consulting capabilities.
• Ensure client solutions comply with

  industry standards, EMC/EMI requirements, thermal management guidelines, and organizational objectives

  .

Qualifications & Skills

10+ years in electrical engineering with a focus on DC-DC converters, power electronics, and voltage regulation circuits.

• DC-DC converters (buck, boost, buck-boost, isolated topologies)
• High/low voltage system design
• Power management ICs, MOSFETs, inductors, capacitors, EMI/EMC considerations
• Thermal management and protection circuits
• Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD/Allegro, PSpice, LTSpice, MATLAB/Simulink for simulation
• PCB layout, routing, and design optimization

• Consulting & Process Knowledge:

• Electrical safety standards, EMC/EMI compliance, reliability testing
• Prototyping, validation, and manufacturing support
• Ability to translate technical expertise into

  client solutions and consulting offerings

• Strong

  problem-solving, analytical thinking, mentoring, client engagement, and communication skills

• Proven experience as a

  technical lead, SME, or senior electrical engineer

  in power electronics, with experience supporting or leading

  consulting or client-facing projects
