We combine AI-driven instruction with two 1:1 coaching touchpoints per week to provide capabilities no traditional classroom offers: individualized mastery progression, velocity, and sustained engagement. This isn't tutoring or conventional teaching. It's performance coaching designed for students capable of learning twice as fast—who need guidance to reach that threshold.You'll support students in grades 3 through 8 across multiple time zones, creating measurable academic advancement through mindset optimization rather than direct instruction. Your function is to maintain elevated standards, cultivate self-belief, and transform the educational experience into something that feels like achievement. What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating two 1:1 virtual coaching sessions weekly per student, centered on academic objective-setting, engagement strategies, and cognitive frameworks
- Hosting open availability periods where students access immediate support, motivation, or problem-solving assistance
- Leveraging AI platforms and tracking systems to monitor student advancement, surface obstacles, and refine your coaching methodology
- Documenting observations, alerts, and tactical adjustments to maintain each student on an accelerated development path
- Coordinating with your coaching team to exchange effective practices, elevate issues requiring attention, and continuously refine the coaching framework

- Conducting instructional lessons, evaluating assessments, or distributing assignments—our technology manages the academic content
- Presenting lectures or adhering to standardized curriculum frameworks
- Providing childcare services or excessively monitoring unmotivated students—we coach with intention, not surveillance
- Participating in redundant meetings or navigating administrative obstacles
- Operating passively—this team exists for individuals committed to excellence and tangible outcomes
Student Success Coach Key Responsibilities
Generate quantifiable academic advancement and sustained engagement for virtual learners through delivery of frequent, high-leverage mindset coaching within a fully remote, technology-enabled framework.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum of 1 year experience coaching, guiding, or inspiring students in grades K–8
- Documented excellence in any domain—academic achievement, competitive athletics, business ventures, or artistic pursuits
- Compelling virtual communication skills and capacity to establish rapport with students rapidly via Zoom/Google Meet
- Proficient with dashboard interfaces and technology platforms for performance monitoring and strategy adaptation
- Available to work at least 70% of scheduled hours within the 7am–10pm EST window, Monday through Friday, to accommodate U.S. time zone alignment
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Experience in performance coaching, sports psychology, or motivational disciplines
- Familiarity with homeschool communities or non-traditional education environments

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $30 USD/hour, which equates to $60,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
