As the Student Recruitment Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving recruitment growth and achieving student recruitment targets in your region on behalf of the Career and Industry division. Your responsibilities will include working closely with colleagues based in colleges and in-market, including the Regional Management team. You will be tasked with conducting on-the-ground recruitment activities such as agent training, lead generation events, student conversion, and addressing specific student, parent, or agent queries. This role demands the ability to support a wide range of internal and external stakeholders across the region to foster long-term growth for specific product(s) in the market. Your key responsibilities will encompass: Strategic Planning & Execution: - Developing and implementing comprehensive recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract high-quality prospective students from diverse backgrounds. - Setting recruitment targets in line with institutional goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with long-term enrollment goals. - Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of recruitment strategies, making necessary adjustments to meet annual enrollment targets. Relationship Building: - Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with high schools, community colleges, educational consultants, and other key stakeholders. - Forming partnerships with community organizations, industry leaders, and alumni to enhance recruitment efforts. - Engaging with prospective students and their families through individual meetings, campus visits, and recruitment events. Event Planning & Execution: - Organizing and overseeing recruitment events like open houses, campus tours, college fairs, and information sessions. - Coordinating travel for recruitment events, ensuring participation in national and international events when relevant. - Representing the institution at regional, national, and international recruitment events. Data Analysis & Reporting: - Utilizing analytics and CRM tools to track trends in student recruitment, application data, and conversion rates. - Generating regular reports on recruitment performance, presenting insights and recommendations to senior management for enhancement. - Implementing effective follow-up strategies to ensure high conversion rates from inquiry to enrollment. Marketing & Communications: - Collaborating with the marketing team to develop compelling recruitment materials such as brochures, websites, digital content, and social media campaigns. - Ensuring marketing materials are current and aligned with the institution's brand and recruitment objectives. - Assisting in creating content for recruitment-related communications, including email marketing, direct mail, and advertisements. Qualifications: Education: - Preferred degree in higher education, marketing, business, or related field. Experience: - 1-3 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, or enrollment management in higher education. - Demonstrated experience in leading teams and formulating successful recruitment strategies. - Proficiency in CRM systems, data analysis, and digital marketing tools. Skills: - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Excellent organizational and project management capabilities. - Ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, students, and external stakeholders. - Data-driven decision-making skills with the capacity to interpret recruitment metrics and trends. - Comfortable with public speaking, presentations, and representing the institution at events. Working Conditions: - Occasional travel required for recruitment events and outreach. - Flexible hours, with some evening and weekend work as necessary. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
