The Counselor – Student Admissions

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Generation & Outreach:

• Conduct proactive tele-calling to potential students, providing detailed information about Ikigai Schools' offerings.
• Initiate and manage student referral programs, collaborating with current students and alumni to increase enrollments.
• Leverage social media (Facebook, Instagram) and online business directories (Just Dial, Google Business, WhatsApp Business) to generate qualified leads.
• Execute email, SMS, and WhatsApp marketing campaigns to maintain engagement with prospective students.

2. Student Counseling & Engagement:

• Provide personalized counseling to prospective students and parents regarding course selection, ensuring alignment with career aspirations.
• Advise enrolled students on extension programs, further education opportunities, and career pathways in the arts.
• Clearly communicate fee structures, available payment plans, and guide students through financial planning for their education.

3. Events and Activations

• Take ownership of outdoor marketing activities such as student stalls, society activations, and venue-based events to promote courses and engage walk-in prospects.
• Assist the Centre Manager and faculty in planning and smoothly executing in-school events, showcases, workshops, and open days.
• Actively support the Centre Manager in generating and tracking student leads through outdoor activations and in-school events, ensuring proper coordination and follow-up.

4. Payments & Financial Administration:

• Generate timely and accurate payment receipts and invoices for enrolled students.
• Track, manage, and reconcile multiple payment channels including EMIs, balance payments, and payment histories to ensure financial accuracy.

5. Issue Resolution:

• Monitor and address basic attendance-related issues, coordinating with teaching staff and management for timely resolutions.
• Escalate significant anomalies related to student finances, fee discrepancies, or student-teacher interactions promptly to the management.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Monthly qualified lead generation targets.
• Conversion rate from inquiries to new student enrollments.
• Renewal rates for existing students in extension programs or new courses.
• Timely resolution of student attendance and financial issues.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree; specialization in Communications, Marketing, Hotel Management, or Business preferred.

• Experience:

  1-2 years in student relations, admissions counseling, sales, marketing, or front office roles, ideally within the education sector.

• Communication:

  Exceptional verbal and written skills, with strong interpersonal abilities for effective student counseling.

• Technical Proficiency:

  Experienced in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and financial software for payments and invoicing.

• Customer Service:

  Proven problem-solving capabilities with a high commitment to customer satisfaction.

• Organizational Skills:

  Highly organized, capable of multitasking, and managing financial and administrative responsibilities effectively.
