Azista Industries Private Limited, Hyderabad and Berlin Space Technologies GmBH, Berlin are coming together in Ahmedabad to create a unique production facility for small satellites that would make a big difference. This is the first private scale satellite production house in India and one of the first production lines for satellites anywhere in the world. Job Overview:

The Mechanical Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and documentation of aerospace structures. This includes creating CAD models, performing structural simulations in ANSYS, preparing BOMs, and ensuring manufacturability in close coordination with the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design aerospace structural components using CAD software.
• Create detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and assembly layouts with GD&T.
• Conduct structural analysis (static, modal, dynamic) in ANSYS.
• Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams for design implementation.
• Support testing, validation, and design correlation with experimental results.
• Maintain design documentation as per aerospace standards.

Qualifications:

• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in structural design & analysis.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (Autodesk Inventor, CATIA, SolidWorks).
• Experience in ANSYS Workbench/Mechanical for structural analysis.
• Strong knowledge of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of aerospace composite materials.
• Experience with vibration and thermal-structural coupling analysis.
• Familiarity with aerospace testing standards and validation processes.
