Role Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled RF Engineer to join our RF Group. The team is responsible for designing, developing, and characterizing RF systems including antennas, transceivers, LNAs, PAs, and RF circuits for spaceborne applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about electromagnetics and RF signal processing, and will contribute to spacecraft subsystem development and testing.


Key Responsibilities:


Design and Development:

  • Design and develop active and passive RF circuits for space systems.
  • Support the development of antennas, low-noise amplifiers (LNA), power amplifiers (PA), transceivers, and associated subsystems.
  • Contribute to RF signal processing for LEO satellite communications.


Testing and Characterization:

  • Perform testing and characterization of RF subsystems using tools such as VSA (Vector Signal Analyzer), VSG (Vector Signal Generator), and VNA (Vector Network Analyzer).
  • Assist in validating communication systems through detailed simulation and test campaigns.


Modeling and Simulation:

  • Work with electromagnetic and RF simulation tools including MATLAB, ADS, CST, and HFSS for circuit and system modeling.


Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary engineering teams to integrate RF designs into spacecraft systems.
  • Stay current with industry advancements and contribute to technical innovation in satellite communication.


Qualifications and Skills:


Education and Experience:

  • B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics and Telecommunication with 2 years of experience; OR
  • M.Tech/M.S. in a relevant field with up to 1 year of experience.


Technical Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment, including VSA, VSG, and VNA.
  • Proficiency in RF design and simulation tools (MATLAB, ADS, CST, HFSS).
  • Strong understanding of communication systems and digital signal processing.


Soft Skills:

  • Passionate about electromagnetics, radar systems, and satellite communication.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative engineering team.
