Position Summary

central strategy and intelligence function for the MD

Key Responsibilities

1. MD Business Analytics & Performance Visibility

• Own company-wide analytics across:

Order booking, revenue, billing,Recovery, cash flow, ageing, Manufacturing capacity, utilisation, WIP Sales & tender pipeline

• Build and maintain

  MD dashboards

  (weekly/monthly).
• Flag risks, deviations, and trends with clear recommendations.
  

2. Strategy & Market Intelligence

• Track sector-wise opportunities, upcoming large projects, and market sizing.
• Maintain competitor intelligence (pricing behaviour, win/loss trends).
• Recommend priority markets, customers, and product focus areas.
  

3. Tender Intelligence & Decision Support

• Build structured tender intelligence systems.

• Use data to assess eligibility, competitor presence, and probability of success

  for large tenders.
• Own Go/No-Go scoring frameworks for strategic bids.
• Feed high-quality intelligence into Sales, Bid Managers, and Strategic Sales.
  

4. Outbound Growth & Account Intelligence

• Design outbound lead-generation strategy (databases, LinkedIn, events).
• Identify strategic accounts and key decision-makers.
• Work with marketing and sales on account-based programs.

5. MD & Leadership Decision Support

• Prepare MD and board pre-reads with insights, not raw data.
• Run scenario analysis (capacity, margin, cash impact).
• Act as a neutral, data-driven advisor in strategic discussions.
  

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong

  business and financial analytics

  capability (Excel / Google Sheets mandatory).
• Experience building

  executive dashboards

  and business MIS.
• Understanding of manufacturing, order-to-cash, and project businesses.
• Familiarity with tenders, pipelines, and public/enterprise procurement.
• Ability to translate data into strategy and actions.
• Clear communication with senior leadership.

Nice to have:

Power BI / Tableau, basic SQL or Python, experience in utilities / EPC / industrial manufacturing.
