Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis across industries, competitors, and emerging technologies to support new business initiatives.
• Design, evaluate, and implement pilot projects or experiments to validate business opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, tech, sales, marketing) to drive execution of new initiatives.
• Build models, frameworks, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to leadership.
• Provide quick turnarounds on data-backed decision-making, ensuring high-quality output under tight deadlines.
• Contribute to strategy development by identifying opportunities, risks, and market trends.
• Ensure smooth execution of initiatives by coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Continuously stay updated on business, technology, and startup ecosystems to bring fresh ideas.
• Take ownership of projects from research to execution, ensuring measurable outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Technology, or related fields.
• Strong business acumen with ability to connect market insights to strategic decisions.
• Prior experience in consulting, strategy, research, product, or early-stage startup roles is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt, and execute in fast-paced environments.
• Alignment with NxtWave’s vision and culture of speed, ownership, and impact.

Skills

Must-Have:

• Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Strong research, problem-solving, and analytical thinking skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and understand new industries, business models, and technologies.
• High proficiency with tools like Google Sheets, Google Slides, and Docs (Microsoft 365 is a plus).
• Strong execution mindset with bias for action and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ownership, ambition, and ability to work with diverse teams.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to or understanding of technology fundamentals (APIs, SaaS, AI, etc.).
• Prior experience in market research, corporate strategy, or startup environments.
• Comfort with ambiguity, experimentation, and iterative problem-solving.
• A strong sense of initiative with the ability to independently drive projects to completion.
• Familiarity with business/financial modeling and industry analysis frameworks.
