Job Description

Job Profile: Create purchasing strategies Research sourcing for new suppliers and vendors Identifying, researching, and selecting suppliers to meet the organization's needs Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers, including pricing, delivery timelines, and payment terms. Monitoring inventory levels, managing stock, and ensuring timely replenishment Ensuring that purchased goods and services meet the required quality standards. Evaluating costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and negotiating favorable price Maintaining accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance. Skills and Qualities: Strong Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and secure favourable terms. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and cost data. Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure accuracy and completeness in all purchasing activities. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to purchasing and supply chain. Knowledge of Procurement Processes and Procedures: Familiarity with the entire procurement lifecycle, from needs identification to invoice processing.
