Store Manager

A Store Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the engineering store operations, managing inventory, fulfilling departmental material requirements, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The position involves coordinating with purchasing, production, and maintenance teams, maintaining accurate records through ERP software, and ensuring safe storage and proper documentation of all items.Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, including receiving, issuing, and storing machine parts, tools, and components for pharma machinery.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems like SAP or Oracle, and conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure data integrity.
• Ensure minimum and maximum stock levels are adhered to, and initiate timely procurement to prevent stockouts or excess inventory.
• Coordinate with purchasing, production, and maintenance departments to fulfil material needs efficiently and on time.
• Handle documentation related to inventory movement, material inspection, statutory compliance, and audits.
• Manage tagging, labelling, and categorisation of all materials for easy traceability and efficient retrieval.
• Train and supervise store staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs and company policies.
• Liaise with vendors, transporters, and internal teams for delivery, dispatch, and clearance of materials.
• Report operational data, variances, and compliance information to senior management as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• A graduation in Mechanical, Electrical, or a relevant technical discipline is preferred.
• Excellent organisational, communication, problem-solving, and managerial skills, with the ability to coordinate with various departments and supervise staff effectively.

This role is critical to ensuring the smooth, compliant operation of the engineering store, which directly impacts production timelines and quality in manufacturing environments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,500.00 per month
