Store Manager

1. Educational Qualifications

• Essential:
• Graduation in Pharmacy, Commerce, or Business Administration
• Preferred:
• Diploma or Certification in Hospital Store Management / Inventory Control
• MBA in Materials Management / Supply Chain (desirable for senior roles)

2. Work Experience

• Minimum: 3–5 years in hospital store or pharmacy store management
• Preferred:
• Experience in medical store/inventory in a NABH-accredited hospital
• Hands-on experience with hospital supply chain software (e.g., HIS, ERP, SAP)

3. Technical Skills

• Inventory control and material handling
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical consumables
• Store documentation and stock auditing
• Expiry and batch control of drugs
• Vendor management and procurement process
• Understanding of biomedical items and cold chain requirements
• Familiarity with billing, indent management, and GRN processes
• Stock reconciliation and loss prevention practices

• Leadership and team supervision abilities
• Ability to handle emergencies and urgent medical stock requirements
• Discipline in documentation and regulatory compliance

5. Regulatory Knowledge

• Basic knowledge of drug control regulations, pharmacy rules, and hospital accreditation standards (NABH, etc.)
• Knowledge of medical waste and storage standards

6. Computer & Software Skills

• Proficient in MS Excel and inventory software
• Working knowledge of Hospital Information Systems (HIS)
• Barcode scanning, stock tracking tools

7. Other Requirements

• Ability to work in rotational shifts (if applicable)
• Physically fit to manage store inspections and handling
• Language: Proficiency in English and local language (for vendor communication)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
