Job Description

Position Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, achieving sales targets, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff performance, and maintaining store standards. This role ensures smooth functioning of the store while meeting operational, financial, and customer satisfaction goals.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Performance

  • Achieve and exceed monthly/annual store sales targets.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as conversion rate, average transaction value, and footfall.
  • Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities.

2. Store Operations

  • Manage daily store opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through regular stock checks and audits.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation according to brand standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

3. Customer Experience

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints professionally and promptly.
  • Train staff on customer service standards and product knowledge.

4. Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate store staff.
  • Create work schedules and manage staff attendance.
  • Provide coaching, motivation, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a positive and productive team environment.

5. Financial & Administrative Duties

  • Manage petty cash, billing, and daily cash reconciliation.
  • Control store expenses and optimize operational costs.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports and operational summaries.

6. Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure safety, and security standards are followed.
  • Conduct risk assessments and keep the store audit-ready.
  • Ensure proper handling of products and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Business, Retail Management, or related field).
  • 3–5 years of retail or store management experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in POS systems and MS Office tools.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong customer service orientation and sales-driven mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
