Store Manager

Industry: Garment Manufacturing / Job Work (Shirts) Job SummaryWe are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Store Manager to manage and maintain raw material inventory for our shirt production job work. The ideal candidate should be strong in Excel, familiar with ERP systems, and capable of ensuring accurate stock management and timely delivery of materials as per work orders. Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate stock levels of all raw materials (fabrics, trims, accessories, packaging, etc.). Issue raw materials to job workers according to work orders and production requirements. Record all material inward/outward entries in the ERP system on a daily basis. Monitor stock movement and ensure no shortages or delays in material supply to the factory. Coordinate closely with the production and purchase teams. Prepare Excel reports: stock registers, material movement reports, shortage lists, consumption summaries, etc. Physically verify stock and conduct monthly stock audits. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and material handling. Follow FIFO and maintain organized store operations. Track pending work orders and ensure timely delivery of raw materials to job workers. Maintain documentation and support MIS reporting. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 2–5 years of experience in store/inventory management (garment industry preferred). Strong knowledge of Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Table, Basic formulas). Ability to understand and operate ERP systems (training can be provided). Good communication and coordination skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and handle responsibility. Preferred ExperienceExperience in garment manufacturing units—especially shirts. Stock management of fabrics, trims, and washing materials. Understanding of consumption and wastage control.
