Store Manager

Key Responsibilities:Inventory & Material Management:

• Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials.
• Ensure proper storage of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC materials.
• Perform regular stock checks, cycle counts, and reconcile variances.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and reorder as necessary.

Material Receipt & Issue:

• Receive and inspect materials for quantity and quality as per purchase orders.
• Coordinate with QA/QC for inspection and approval.
• Issue materials based on approved Material Request (MR) from site engineers or supervisors.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, and stock registers (manual or ERP-based).
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
• Track material usage vs. budgeted quantities for cost control.

Coordination:

• Liaise with procurement for timely replenishment of stocks.
• Coordinate with project and site teams for material delivery schedules.
• Ensure smooth logistics for transporting materials to various sites.

Asset & Tool Management:

• Maintain records of tools and equipment issued to site staff.
• Ensure timely return, calibration, or replacement of tools.
• Monitor equipment maintenance schedules and servicing logs.

Compliance & Safety:

• Ensure the store is maintained as per HSE standards.
• Label materials and store them according to safety and handling guidelines.
• Implement proper waste disposal for obsolete or damaged items.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper or Store Manager in MEP or construction.
• Strong knowledge of MEP materials and their specifications.
• Proficiency in inventory software (ERP systems preferred).
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and train junior store staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per month
