Store Keeper Technical

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming materials, consumables, and equipment as per purchase orders.
• Verify quantity, specifications, and quality against delivery challans, invoices, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with Defence industry and material traceability requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality and Procurement teams for acceptance/rejection of materials.
• Store materials systematically using bin card/ERP entries with proper identification, labeling, and lot/batch control.
• Follow FIFO/FEFO principles and Defence storage standards for preservation (humidity, temperature, anti-corrosion, etc.).
• Maintain proper segregation of hazardous, sensitive, and high-value items.
• Issue materials to production, maintenance, and project teams against approved requisitions.
• Pack and dispatch materials/equipment securely as per Defence logistics protocols.
• Ensure accountability and timely movement of stores to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of receipts, issues, and stock in ERP/software and physical ledgers.
• Conduct periodic physical verification and reconcile with system balances.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports, shortages, and excess inventory analysis.
• Ensure documentation as per ISO, AS9100, and Defence Audit requirements.
• Follow Defence security protocols for restricted and classified materials.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of explosive, hazardous, or sensitive items.
• Maintain housekeeping, fire safety, and environmental compliance in stores area.
• Support internal and external audits (Defence QA, ISO, statutory bodies).

Skills and Experience Required:

Strong knowledge of Defence material management norms (DGAQA, DGQA, CEMILAC guidelines preferred).

Hands-on experience with ERP/WMS (SAP/MM or equivalent).

Understanding of engineering materials, tools, consumables, and spares used in the Defence industry.

Knowledge of inventory control techniques (ABC, VED, FSN, SDE analysis).

Good documentation and reporting skills.

Ability to handle high-value and sensitive inventory with integrity and confidentiality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹45,000.00 per month
