Position Overview:

The Store Incharge will be responsible for the complete management of the stores department, covering all activities from material inward to outward movement, including maintenance of MOM (Material Outward Movement), BOM (Bill of Materials), and inventory records. The role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in documentation, and coordination with production and purchase teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.

Key Responsibilities:Material Inward & Verification

• Receive raw materials, consumables, and bought-out components as per purchase orders.
• Verify quantities and specifications against supplier delivery challans and GRNs.
• Coordinate with Quality Control for inspection and clearance before storage.
• Tag and record all received materials in the system for traceability.

Inventory & Storage Management

• Maintain systematic storage of all items using FIFO/LIFO principles.
• Monitor and control stock levels, ensuring optimum inventory at all times.
• Conduct daily and monthly stock reconciliations with physical verification.
• Maintain records for rejected, returned, and scrap materials.

Production Support & BOM Maintenance

• Issue materials to production as per approved BOM (Bill of Materials) and material requisition.
• Record and track Material Outward Movements (MOM) accurately in register or ERP.
• Ensure real-time update of material consumption to prevent shortages or excess.
• Monitor variance between issued and consumed materials and report discrepancies.

Dispatch & Outward Activities

• Prepare delivery challans, packing lists, and dispatch documentation.
• Coordinate with logistics for timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Ensure proper authorization and documentation for all outward materials.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain and update all records in ERP or manual registers (Inward, Outward, Returns, Scrap, Stock).
• Generate daily/weekly/monthly stock reports for management review.
• Support internal and external audits related to stores and inventory.

Safety, 5S & Team Supervision

• Maintain safe material handling and housekeeping standards in the store area.
• Implement 5S practices and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Supervise store assistants and helpers for daily operations.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Inventory Management, BOM, MOM, GRN, MRN, and ERP systems.
• Good communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Hands-on experience in engineering/manufacturing industries (pumps, drum motors, aggregates, mining equipment preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP software, and documentation systems.

Qualification & Experience:

• Education: Diploma / B.Com / Any Graduate (preferred background in materials management).
• Experience: 2 – 5 years in store/inventory management in a manufacturing environment.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
• Benefits: Provident Fund (PF) + ESI / Insurance coverage as per company policy
