Store Incharge:

A store Incharge’s job description involves overseeing the inventory of construction materials, tools, and equipment to ensure the timely and efficient supply for project needs. Key duties include managing stock levels, conducting regular checks, procuring materials, and maintaining the store's cleanliness and safety. They also handle logistics like dispatch and report to project managers.

Key responsibilities:

1. Inventory management: This includes tracking stock, conducting regular checks to identify shortages or surpluses, and maintaining accurate records of all materials, tools, and equipment.

2. Procurement: Ordering and purchasing new materials and equipment as needed.

3. Logistics: Managing the timely dispatch of materials to project sites and receiving incoming stock.

4. Store organisation and safety: Ensuring the store and warehouse are clean, organised, and secure, and that all safety regulations are followed.

5. Reporting: Communicating stock levels, needs, and issues to project managers and other relevant staff.

6. Team coordination: Empowering and aligning the store team and ensuring a high level of productivity and efficiency within the store operations.

Qualifications and skills:

1. Experience: Experience in store or inventory management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector, is essential. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience required.

2. Education: BA/B.Com in any field; HS passed out is also adequate.

3. Knowledge: A strong understanding of construction materials, tools, and equipment is a must.

4. Organisational skills: Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills are required to manage the day-to-day operations effectively.

5. Communication: The ability to communicate effectively with the store team, project managers, and other stakeholders is crucial.

6. Technical skills: Proficiency in inventory management software may also be a requirement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
