Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for overseeing and directing field collection operations in a large geographic region as a State Head Collections. Your main focus will be on implementing state strategies to optimize debt recovery, streamline operations, and ensure compliance with legal and company policies. You will lead a team of Area Managers, Team Leaders, and Field Agents to achieve collection goals and drive performance improvements. Key Responsibilities: - Implement strategic plans for the region to meet collection goals and optimize performance. - Collaborate with senior management to align state operations with the company's overall business objectives. - Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Area Managers, setting clear goals, KPIs, and performance expectations. - Oversee and track the performance of all teams within the region to ensure collection targets are met. - Ensure efficient and cost-effective field operations, including travel, logistics, and resource management. - Handle high-priority cases or issues escalated by the team and collaborate with legal and compliance teams when necessary. - Analyze data from across the region to identify performance indicators and opportunities for improvement. - Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and legal standards in all collection activities. - Work with HR and training departments to develop training programs for staff and promote a culture of continuous improvement. - Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders in the region. - Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion within the region and recommend resource allocation changes or technology investments. Qualifications Required: - Exceptional leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring a diverse team. - Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders. - Proficiency in data analytics, financial reporting tools, and CRM/collections software. - Strong understanding of debt collection laws, compliance regulations, and risk management practices. - High level of integrity, professionalism, and results orientation with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.,
