State Head Collections

As a State Collections Manager for Micro LAP products, you will be responsible for developing and executing state-level collection strategies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Monitoring portfolio health across branches and ensuring reduction in delinquency rates. - Aligning state targets with national recovery goals and compliance standards. - Overseeing collections for the entire Micro LAP portfolio within the state. - Ensuring timely follow-up on overdue accounts and minimizing NPAs. You will also be leading and mentoring area collection managers and field recovery teams. It will be your responsibility to set KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and ensure adherence to ethical recovery practices and regulatory norms. Your proven ability to manage large teams across geographies will be crucial in this role. In terms of stakeholder coordination, you will collaborate with Sales, credit, risk, legal, and operations teams to streamline recovery efforts. You will also liaise with local law enforcement and legal counsel for escalated cases, requiring familiarity with SARFAESI, arbitration, Sec-138, 156(3)Etc. Additionally, you may need to represent the organization in arbitration or legal proceedings when required. To ensure process efficiency and compliance, you will be responsible for: - Ensuring compliance with RBI guidelines and internal SOPs for collections. - Implementing tech-enabled tracking systems for real-time recovery updates. - Driving training programs on recovery protocols and customer handling. Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Graduate/Postgraduate - Experience: 10 years in collections, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing Micro LAP or similar secured and unsecured portfolios.,
