Requirements What You'll Do As a Staff Engineer - Frontend , you'll play a key role in shaping and scaling the frontend architecture while serving as a hands-on expert and leader. You'll collaborate with a passionate engineering team to craft pixel-perfect UIs, scalable systems, and delightful user experiences. Design and implement scalable, high-performance frontend architectures using React, TypeScript, and modern SPA paradigms. Build reusable design systems, component libraries, and developer tooling to drive consistency and speed. Lead the adoption and integration of Generative AI technologies to enhance frontend experiences and productivity. Evaluate, implement, and optimize AI-powered features, ensuring they align with performance, UX, and ethical considerations. Set the technical vision and guardrails for frontend architecture across products and teams. Mentor and guide developers, review code, and enforce coding standards and best practices. Work closely with design and product teams to translate high-fidelity mockups into pixel-perfect, fluid interactive experiences. Engineer seamless real-time collaboration features, live editing tools, spreadsheet interfaces, and more. Continuously monitor and optimize frontend performance, ensuring fast rendering and responsiveness across devices. Optimize bundle sizes, reduce jank, and deliver blazing-fast user interfaces. Define and evolve patterns for state management, component composition, and codebase modularity. Champion testability, type safety, accessibility, and developer productivity. Take full ownership of major features and architectural decisions, from concept to delivery and ongoing iteration. Lead by example through hands-on contributions and deep problem-solving expertise. You Should Apply If You Have: 10+ years of experience building complex web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend stacks. Expertise in React, with a deep understanding of component-driven architecture and state management (Redux, Zustand, React Query). Proficiency in modern SPA frameworks and component-based design. Strong knowledge of ES6+, modern JavaScript concepts, and TypeScript. Solid grasp of HTML, CSS, SASS, and responsive web design principles. Experience optimizing frontend performance through caching, memoization, and rendering strategies. Understanding of browser APIs, caching, local storage, and web standards.
