As a Maintenance Engineer at Epiroc, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of fleet performance at mining sites in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Key Responsibilities: - Schedule and Preventive Maintenance Planning: - Developing maintenance schedules and documentation. - Reviewing and updating maintenance procedures. - Performing regular system checks to ensure all components are functioning correctly. - Training and Development: - Training junior technicians or new employees. - Staying updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in maintenance. - Keeping the team up-to-date with advancements in engine technology and maintenance techniques. - Inventory Management: - Managing spare parts and tools inventory. - Ensuring all necessary components are available for sudden repairs or maintenance tasks. - Coordinating with planning and maintenance team for timely procurement of parts. - Technical Support and Troubleshooting: - Providing technical support to the running team or Fleet owners. - Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues when engines are not in active use. - Compliance and Safety Checks: - Keeping records of safety checks and compliance documentation. - Conducting safety audits and implementing necessary changes. - Focus Improvement Project (FIP): - Leading or participating in special projects related to engine systems. - Coordinating with various departments to achieve project goals. - Monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments. - Data Analysis and Reporting: - RCA for Failures and raising failure reports to the Technical Team. - Using data to improve maintenance strategies and operational efficiency. - Observing trends or patterns indicating potential future issues. - Ensure Daily Machine Trackers, KPI Dashboard, Daily Shift Report, Trackers, and compliance, Breakdown/Backlog. - All Statutory Documentations Update. - Supporting Planning and Maintenance Team with proper availability of Job Card and other related documentation. - Record Keeping with PPT for reviews and compliances. Qualifications: - BE/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical with 5 to 8 years" experience in a similar role in Underground mines. - Well experienced with SHE standards and guidelines. - Technical competence on HEMM Underground machinery. - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, problem-solving, attention to detail, teamwork, adaptability, critical thinking, time management, problem ownership, risk management, and customer focus skills. - Exposure to Failure Analysis (FMEA & RCA), Reliability, and Sustainability Engineering. - Understanding and applying reliability metrics such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and failure rate analysis.
