Job Description

Role Overview: Our client, a pioneer in sourcing semiconductor fabrication and packaging equipment and materials for the Indian market, is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer/ Business Development Engineer for Semiconductors in Bengaluru. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies within the semiconductor industry to achieve revenue targets. Your role will involve client relationship management, product knowledge, sales presentations, proposal development, negotiation, sales reporting, forecasting, and team collaboration. Key Responsibilities: - Sales Strategy Development: - Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets within the semiconductor industry. - Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust the sales approach accordingly. - Client Relationship Management: - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in semiconductor manufacturing companies. - Understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions through effective communication and collaboration. - Product Knowledge: - Possess in-depth knowledge of the company's capital equipment and consumables for the semiconductor industry. - Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor products to effectively position our offerings. - Sales Presentations: - Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of our solutions. - Address technical queries and concerns, ensuring a thorough understanding of the value proposition. - Proposal Development: - Collaborate with the technical and engineering teams to develop customized proposals that meet client specifications and requirements. - Ensure proposals align with the company's pricing and profitability guidelines. - Negotiation and Closing: - Lead negotiations with clients to reach mutually beneficial agreements. - Drive the closing process, managing contracts, and ensuring a smooth transition to the implementation phase. - Sales Reporting and Forecasting: - Provide regular and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the senior management team. - Utilize CRM tools to maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and sales activities. - Team Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience. - Provide input to product development based on customer feedback and market trends. Qualification Required: - Masters in Business Administration or related field. - Experience with Salesforce and its services like leads, opportunities, campaigns, policies, rules, etc. - Deep knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and packaging processes such as photolithography, etching, oxidation, etc. - Knowledge of battery technology and battery management technologies. - Successful business development experiences with your initiatives.
