Position Summary

Sr. Sales & BD Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support & Coordination

  • Assist the sales team in preparing presentations, proposals, reports, and client communications.
  • Track sales performance, maintain records of client interactions, and follow up on leads.
  • Support FPOs, dealers, and agri-entrepreneurs in operational execution of sales initiatives.

Market Research & Insights

  • Conduct research on market trends, crop patterns, farmer demand, and competitive landscape.
  • Generate insights to inform business strategies, project planning, and management decision-making.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, FPOs, distributors, and institutional buyers.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing queries and coordinating with relevant teams.

Event & Trade Fair Support

  • Assist in organizing buyer–seller meets, trade fairs, expos, and promotional events.
  • Provide logistical and administrative support to ensure successful participation.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with marketing, logistics, production, and finance teams for smooth sales operations.
  • Align project activities with internal teams to achieve sales and business objectives.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular dashboards, performance reports, and market analysis for senior management.
  • Ensure proper documentation of project activities, agreements, and client feedback.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Rural Development, Business Administration, or related field.


Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in sales , business development, or project coordination in agriculture or food sector

  • Knowledge of food regulations and industry standards can be beneficial.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Analytical skills to track project performance and market trends.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools, Excel, and presentation software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and coordinate across multiple teams.
  • Willingness to travel regionally for field visits and events.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports To:

    Sr.Project Manager


Travel Requirements

  • As required for FPO/dealer visits, project monitoring, and events (approx. 60-70%).


Compensation

  • Annual CTC:

    ₹4.20 Lakhs per annum (Fixed)
  • Additional Benefits:

    Variable Pay + Commitment Bonus

    (Compensation will be aligned with experience, qualifications, and current salary)


  • Reimbursement

    : Official travel, stay, and logistics as per organizational policy
