Job Description

You will be responsible for managing the logistics and customer service operations in the southern region. Your key stakeholders will include regional sales, commercial, QA, manufacturing, GM replenishment, national logistics manager, vendors, auditors, and local authorities for permits and licenses. To qualify for this role, you should have a post-graduation in management from a Tier-1 institute with 4-6 years of experience, preferably in logistics and customer service, especially in the FMCG sector. Knowledge of freight will be an added advantage. Desired competencies for this role include a good understanding of warehouse processes and transportation, strong communication skills, commercial and negotiation skills, self-motivation, performance-driven attitude, and high execution skills. Your key responsibilities will involve managing secondary transportation, including budgeting, vendor development, negotiation, and daily shipment execution. You will also oversee warehouse management, including budgeting, selection, negotiations, overhead management, safety, operational excellence, training, audits, SOP rollouts, and stock management. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring stock availability at distributor points, timely execution of shipments, compliance with PDP and CRS, and tracking executions to meet sales targets. Team and stakeholder management with sales, distributors, quality, vendors, and commercial partners will also be part of your role. Overall, as a Senior Regional Logistics Customer Service Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient logistics operations and exceptional customer service in the southern region.,
