Sr. Quantity Surveyor

The Quantity Surveyor will manage site-level quantity measurement, cost control, billing, and financial documentation for civil construction projects. The role ensures accurate tracking of quantities, timely billing, and adherence to project budgets and contracts.

Key Responsibility

• Prepare quantity take-offs from approved drawings and BOQs
• Measure and record executed work at site
• Prepare Running Account (RA) bills and final bills
• Verify subcontractor bills and recommend payments
• Track project costs, material consumption, and wastage
• Prepare rate analysis for extra items and variations
• Assist in budgeting, cost control, and cash flow monitoring
• Coordinate with site engineers, planning, and procurement teams
• Maintain measurement books, billing records, and cost reports
• Support preparation of final accounts and project close-out documents
  

Qualification & Experience

• B.Tech in Civil Engineering (mandatory)

• 8-10 years of experience in civil construction site projects
• Experience in buildings or infrastructure projects preferred
  

skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/estimation software
• Good numerical, analytical, and documentation skills
• Ability to work independently at construction sites
• Effective communication and coordination skills
• Should have knowledge of ERP software
