Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of core product capabilities through robust test planning, test automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Product Managers, Developers, SREs, and Support teams to deliver high-quality, microservices-based cloud solutions. This position requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills along with a deep understanding of modern QA practices and tools. Responsibilities: Own quality for core product areas, ensuring that each release meets the highest standards. Collaborate with Product Managers to understand feature requirements and translate them into detailed test strategies and plans. Work with developers to gain insights into design and architecture for better test coverage. Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing. Contribute to and improve the existing test automation frameworks (data-driven, keyword-driven, or hybrid). Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. Set up and execute performance and load testing to identify system bottlenecks. Collaborate with the SRE and Support teams to triage issues from the field, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Review and improve QA best practices, processes, and tools. Participate in code reviews and maintain documentation related to test cases and quality metrics. Qualifications: 5–8 years of hands-on experience as a QA Engineer, with a strong focus on test automation and quality processes. Proven experience with Selenium WebDriver using Java or Python, and RestAssured for API automation. Expertise in automation frameworks (TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, etc.) and tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ, JMeter, or similar. Strong knowledge of Web Application Testing and RESTful APIs. Good understanding of Databases and proficiency in SQL for data validation. Exposure to CI/CD tools (like Jenkins), and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience with test and defect management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar. Familiarity with third-party API integrations and validating them in different environments. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus. Ability to work effectively in agile environments with cross-functional global teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications (Bonus): Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust). Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Jira, or similar platforms. Exposure to Security Testing or Accessibility Testing is a plus. ISTQB or equivalent QA certification is a plus.
