Job Title: Senior OutSystems Application Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues, including system bottlenecks, performance optimization, and root-cause analysis for existing OutSystems applications.
• Maintain data integrity, manage system databases, and monitor application performance to minimize downtime and ensure compatibility with underlying infrastructure.
• Coordinate with design, development, and QA teams to resolve complex issues, apply patches/updates, and handle incident management for escalations.
• Perform debugging, log analysis, and testing (unit, integration, system) to identify and fix bugs, while documenting solutions and best practices.
• Integrate OutSystems applications with third-party systems (e.g., via REST, SOAP, or databases like SQL Server/Oracle) and support deployment processes in multi-environment setups.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in code reviews, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring adherence to security and performance best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• At least 5-8 years of experience in OutSystems development and maintenance, with a strong emphasis on supporting and maintaining existing applications (not just new builds).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficiency in OutSystems tools like Service Studio, Integration Studio, Lifetime, and Forge components, along with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and databases (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
• Solid understanding of application lifecycle management, agile methodologies, troubleshooting tools, and network protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP).
• Experience with cloud services, version control (e.g., Git), and API integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and providing timely user support.
• Preferred:

  OutSystems Architect certification.

Experience Level

Mid-senior level, with proven expertise in enterprise application support and digital transformation initiatives.

• Remote/ On-site(Singapore)
