Job Title: Technical Business Development Manager – Lithium Batteries Location: Hyderabad Department: Business Development / Sales & Marketing Reports to: Head of Operations / CEO Job Summary: The Technical Business Development Manager (Lithium Batteries) will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical expertise to customers in the lithium battery market. This role bridges the gap between technical product knowledge and business strategy, ensuring that customer needs are met with appropriate lithium battery solutions. Key Responsibilities: Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across sectors such as Energy Storage Systems (ESS), EV, and industrial applications. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and market penetration. Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, distributors, integrators, and end-users. Technical Support & Consultation: Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers, addressing queries related to lithium battery specifications, performance, and applications. Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and training sessions for clients and internal teams. Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to customize solutions based on client requirements. Market & Competitive Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor offerings to refine business strategies. Identify product improvement opportunities based on market feedback. Project & Account Management: Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. Oversee project timelines, from initial inquiry to product delivery and after-sales support. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet industry standards, safety regulations, and customer quality requirements. Work closely with the quality assurance team to resolve any technical issues. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 5+ years of experience in business development or technical sales, preferably in the lithium battery or energy storage industry. Strong technical knowledge of lithium-ion battery chemistry, manufacturing processes, and applications. Skills & Competencies: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-oriented approach. Ability to translate complex technical details into easily understood benefits for clients.
