Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior leader within an Agile team, driving consistent engineering practices, standardization of tools, reusable components, and quality documentation.
 
 
- Partner with Product Ownersto analyze business requirements, refine user stories, and ensure technical feasibility and alignment with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with Product and Architecture teams to prioritize features, manage technical backlogs, and incorporate emerging technologies, industry trends, and known issue resolutions.
- Provide hands-on technical leadershipacross the software development lifecycle — including architecture, design, prototyping, coding, API development, and unit/integration testing.
- Work closely with technical architects and governance teamsto review and validate solution designs, ensuring adherence to enterprise architecture standards.
- Lead integration and performance testing efforts, and present outcomes to technical and product stakeholders through demonstrations and reviews.
- Conduct peer code reviewsand champion best practices in design, coding standards, and technical debt reduction.
- Oversee deployment, monitoring, and supportof applications across test, integration, and production environments, ensuring stability, scalability, and performance.
- Collaborate with Product Owners on long-term roadmap planning, ensuring cohesive feature delivery across multiple platforms and products.
- Mentor and coach junior developers, providing technical guidance, career development support, and constructive feedback to build strong, high-performing teams.
- Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture, encouraging knowledge sharing, skill enhancement, and continuous learning within the engineering organization.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and business partners, translating technical solutions into business outcomes and ensuring alignment throughout the delivery process.
- Proactively identify and adopt new technologiesand best practices that enhance performance, security, and maintainability.
- Inspire innovation and creativity by encouraging experimentation and calculated risk-taking, driving continuous improvement across teams and platforms.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in software development, with at least5+ yearsinJavaandBig Datatechnologies.
- Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaininglarge-scale, data-intensiveETL applications.
- Strong hands-on experiencewithPySpark,Relational(e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) andNoSQLdatabases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB).
- Skilled in RESTful APIdesign, development, and integration.
- Practical experience implementing CI/CD pipelinesusing tools such asJUnit, TestNG, Jenkins, Git, andMocking frameworks.
- Deep understanding of data management principles, data modeling, and performance optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, define scalable solutions, and deliver inincremental, agile iterations.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented design and programming, with proficiency across multiple languages and familiarity with complex data structures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
