As a Senior Manager Accounts at DevX, your role is crucial in leading the finance and accounting function across the group of companies. Your key responsibilities will include: - Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports to the Founder and key stakeholders. - Develop and deliver actionable MIS reports for performance tracking, strategic planning, and operational efficiency. - Ensure full compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS, Income Tax, etc.) and accounting standards (Ind AS/IFRS). - Coordinate with auditors and consultants for statutory, internal, and tax audits, ensuring timely and clean closures. - Manage cash flow, working capital, and banking relationships to ensure optimal financial health and liquidity. - Design and implement robust internal controls, accounting policies, and standard operating procedures to safeguard company assets. - Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, driving accountability, accuracy, and professional development. - Collaborate with business functions to align financial planning with organizational objectives and expansion goals. - Stay current on regulatory updates, industry trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and compliance readiness. Qualifications and Experience: - Chartered Accountant (CA) or Masters degree in Accounting or Finance. - Minimum 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years in a leadership role. - Proven experience managing accounts for multiple clients or group companies is mandatory. Key Skills Required: - Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards. - Proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel; ERP experience is a plus. - Excellent analytical skills and high attention to detail. - Strong communication, leadership, and team management abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
