Sr. Legal Executive/ Manager

• Contract Management:

  Draft, vet, and maintain a repository of agreements, notices, and legal documents

• Intellectual Property:

  File and renew trademarks and copyrights; maintain MIS for all IP assets

• Legal Advisory:

  Support commercial and contractual matters with best practice recommendations

• Terms Conditions:

  Identify and communicate key contract terms to relevant stakeholders

• Stakeholder Support:

  Act as the primary legal contact for internal teams and business heads

• Negotiation Support:

  Liaise with internal and external parties on contract terms and pricing

• Litigation Piracy:

  Handle legal disputes and piracy issues independently or with authorities, including visiting courts in all civil matters, coordinating with external counsel, and preparing/drafting necessary legal documentation. Ensure timely filing, compliance with court procedures, and regular updates to management on case progress.

• Risk Management:

  Assess and mitigate legal risks in business transactions

• MA and JV Documentation:

• Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing legal documents related to mergers, acquisitions, and joint ventures
• Support structuring and negotiation of deal terms, shareholder agreements, and strategic partnerships

Desired Profile

• Experience in contract drafting, legal review, and negotiations
• Strong knowledge of IP laws (Copyright, Trademark), digital media, licensing, and e-commerce
• Familiarity with TRAI regulations, Cable TV Act, and broadcasting laws
• Understanding of procedural (CPC, CrPC) and substantive laws (IPC, economic offenses)
• Proficiency in corporate law, labor law, litigation, and compliance
• Exposure to MA transactions and joint venture structuring
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Analytical mindset with sound judgment and decision-making skills
