Job Description

As a Senior Key Accounts Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing the

company’s key account management strategies in collaboration with the Head of Medical Content.

You will be responsible for managing and nurturing long-term relationships with the company’s most

influential medical accounts and thought leaders. This position requires a strategic, results-driven

approach to building and maintaining strong partnerships with medical influencers, ensuring that

content strategies align with both medical and business goals.

You will act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for key account activities and lead the

development and implementation of campaigns that optimize engagement with medical influencers

across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Account Management

 Lead the development of key account management strategies in alignment with the Medical

Content department to ensure impactful partnerships with medical influencers.

 Manage and grow relationships with top-tier medical influencers, key opinion leaders (KOLs),

and healthcare institutions, fostering long-term collaborations.

 Analyze influencer profiles (specialty, sub-specialty, and content preferences) to develop

personalized and high-impact content strategies.

Campaign Planning & Execution

 Collaborate with cross-functional teams (content, marketing, design) to plan, execute, and

track influencer-driven campaigns.

 Customize campaigns and content formats based on the agreed strategy with influencers

and ensure alignment with platform responses.

 Proactively iterate campaigns based on data insights, platform performance, and industry

trends to maximize engagement.

Content & Platform Management

 Work closely with the in-house content team and external agencies to develop high-quality

content for key accounts.

 Regularly monitor platform traffic and engagement metrics, ensuring that all content

resonates with the target audience and drives measurable results.

 Provide actionable insights to the content and creative teams to improve content formats

and engagement strategies.

Relationship Building & Influencer Engagement

 Build and maintain deep, influential relationships with medical influencers by meeting with

them regularly and enhancing partnership strategies.

 Represent the company at medical conferences and industry events, establishing and

expanding your professional network to increase brand visibility and strategic influence.

 Manage any conflict resolution or challenges that may arise with key accounts, ensuring

swift intervention and maintaining strong professional ties.

Leadership & Collaboration

 Act as a subject matter expert in medical content and influencer strategy, providing

guidance to internal teams and junior staff.

 Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all campaigns are executed within regulatory

and internal guidelines and timelines.

 Lead by example in building a customer-oriented culture, delivering results that meet

business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

 Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree. A post-graduate degree in a related discipline

(MBA, MSc, or similar) is highly preferred.

 Experience:

o A minimum of 10–12 years of experience in key account management,

pharma/healthcare sales, or medical communications.

o Experience in working with medical influencers, KOLs, and medical content

strategies is essential.

o Proven ability to manage large, strategic accounts and deliver results through

effective relationship management and content-driven campaigns.

o At least 5 years of experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving high-

level business initiatives.

professionals, KOLs, and influencers.

 Strategic Thinking: Expertise in developing and executing strategic account management

plans, content strategies, and campaign management.

 Digital Content Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital content strategies, social media

platforms, and online engagement in the medical sector.

 Leadership & Mentoring: Ability to lead, mentor, and collaborate with cross-functional

teams and junior staff.

 Project & Time Management: Excellent at managing multiple priorities, setting realistic

timelines, and delivering within regulatory and business deadlines.

 Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence

both internal teams and external stakeholders, especially in high-stakes scenarios.

Desired Attributes:

 Deep industry knowledge of pharma, healthcare communications, and medical content

creation.

 Familiarity with healthcare regulations, medical marketing guidelines, and ethical

considerations in medical influencer engagements.

 Ability to work independently, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to fast-changing

environments.

 Strong customer-oriented mindset with the ability to translate client needs into actionablebusiness strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
