Role Purpose:

Responsible for managing the complete tendering process for EPC projects — including identification of opportunities, review of tender documents, estimation support, proposal preparation, commercial strategy, and submission, ensuring competitive and compliant bids aligned with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Study tender documents, specifications, drawings, and BOQs to assess scope and risks.
  • Lead end-to-end proposal process: pre-qualification, cost estimation, technical submissions, and commercial offers.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Contracts, Logistics, and Project teams for input to proposals.
  • Prepare and review quantity take-offs, cost sheets, subcontractor & supplier quotations.
  • Develop pricing strategies considering project constraints, competition, and client requirements.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, RFIs, and technical clarifications with clients/consultants.
  • Prepare a top-sheet for the management approval with materials, machinery, and manpower break-ups
  • Ensure all submissions are accurate, timely, and compliant with tender requirements.
  • Perform risk analysis and identify value engineering opportunities to optimise bids.
  • Maintain databases on market pricing, subcontractor performance, and project benchmarking.
  • Support contract negotiation, LOI review, and handover to Execution teams.
  • Able to download various tenders from the relevant website
  • Track ongoing bids, analyse win/loss data, and implement improvements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of bid strategies and commercial data.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 10–15+ years of experience in Tendering/Estimation within the EPC/Construction industry.
  • Working experience in

    Buildings, Hotels/Resorts projects

    is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of local construction codes, contract conditions (FIDIC preferred), and statutory requirements.

Technical & Professional Skills:

  • Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and project execution.
  • Hands-on experience with estimation
  • Vendor/subcontractor networking with strong market intelligence.
  • Commercial and contractual awareness.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Leadership in driving cross-functional teams during bid cycles.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation & decision-making capabilities.
  • High level of integrity, ownership & time management.

Travel Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel for site visits in INDIA / ABROAD, vendor meetings & client discussions as required.
