UX Practice Head


Key Responsibilities


Practice Leadership & Strategy

  • Define the UX practice vision, operating model, capability roadmap, and governance structure.
  • Manage hiring, mentoring, training, and performance for a large design workforce.

Experience Design Ownership

  • Lead UX strategy and Experience Definition for marquee clients.
  • Shape customer journeys, service blueprints, wireframes, interaction models, and scalable design systems.

Delivery Excellence

  • Establish UX delivery frameworks, playbooks, templates, and review mechanisms.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and consistent delivery excellence across engagements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with DXP (Adobe/Sitecore/Optimizely), Mobility, Modern Front-End, and Digital Marketing teams.
  • Build cross-functional pods comprising UX researchers, product designers, UI designers, content strategists, and design system engineers.

Presales & Business Growth

  • Lead UX presales—solutioning, scoping, estimation, proposals, and client storytelling.
  • Present at senior stakeholder meetings, design councils, industry forums, and partner events.

Operational & Financial Ownership

  • Own P&L for the UX practice including utilization, billing, pricing models, and gross margin improvement.
  • Build reusable UX assets such as design system accelerators, persona libraries, journey templates, accessibility kits, and research frameworks.

  • Required Experience & Skills

    • 15–20 years

      of UX experience, including

      5+ years

      leading large design teams (80–200 members).
    • Proven experience delivering

      enterprise-scale UX

      for transformation programs.
    • Strong expertise in UX research, information architecture, interaction design, and design systems.
    • Deep understanding of omnichannel journeys, total experience, mobile-first design, and DXP-driven journeys.
    • Experience collaborating with engineering, product, and data teams.
    • Strong communication skills, executive presence, and ability to navigate ambiguity.
