Key Responsibilities

1. Legal & Regulatory Compliance

• Drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, and legal notices
• Handling corporate legal matters including Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI (if applicable)
• Ensuring compliance with statutory laws, corporate governance norms, and regulatory filings
• Coordinating with external advocates, consultants, and regulatory authorities
• Managing litigation matters and maintaining legal documentation

2. Taxation & Financial Compliance

• Handling

  Direct & Indirect Taxation

  (Income Tax, GST, TDS, assessments, appeals)
• Advising on tax planning, tax optimization, and risk mitigation
• Ensuring timely filing of returns and statutory compliances
• Representing the organization before tax authorities when required

3. Corporate Finance & Advisory

• Financial analysis, MIS reports, budgeting, and forecasting
• Advising management on legal–financial implications of business decisions
• Due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and investments
• Supporting audit processes and internal controls

4. Risk Management & Governance

• Identifying legal and financial risks and proposing mitigation strategies
• Implementing compliance frameworks and internal policies
• Ensuring ethical standards and corporate governance best practices

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of

  Corporate Law, Tax Laws, and Financial Regulations

• Excellent drafting, analytical, and interpretation skills

• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, MS Word

  , and compliance portals
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters independently
